Basketball State Championship

Iolani leading Kahuku 32-19 at the half. This is what happends when a football team trying to play basketball runs into a bunch of basketball players.

They're athleticism is way above anyone else in the state which is why they're good at most things. Cal Lee outcoached them and everyone else for years in football. It was only when the St. Louis talent started dropping off that they beat a Cal Lee team. With the same talent Livai couldn't hold Lee's jock. Same thing here, Iolani is just better at basketball.

Final score 52-41. Closer then it was, Kahuku hit a couple derparation 3's near the end, including at the buzzer.

I still say that Hawaii high school basketball needs a shot clock.

I had the score wrong it was 62-51. And yeah a shot clock would be good. Although there wasn't much stalling in the semi's and finals cause the scores were so close. Good games.
