If he had opted to forego his senior season, he would have been #1 pick last year. Now he fell to #10. Loss of millions or no big deal?

Huge deal. He looks super disappointed too.

No Big Deal --- Leinert will shine with the Cardinals --- hopefully by week three, Warner will be out --- wouldn't be surprised to see Leinert connect with three touchdowns on his first home start

Didn't June Jones say that Leinhart by not going out last year would drop to as low as the 15th pick? Jones was widely critized for saying that. It seems like he knew what he was talking about.

uhwarriors, I remember that and all the USC lurkers on the RSN board went off on Jones. I am half tempted to go to the USC board and ask them if they remember that also. ;)

I thought my team (Jets) were gonna pick "Broadway" Leinhart up, I believe he really wanted to join the Jets. I'm happy with Ferguson, but there is no depending on Pennington. Sure, he's a hell of a QB, but he's injury prone, and sometimes, he makes himself look bad out there, but on a whole he's very good, for sure a top 10.

Call me crazy, but I think Leinhart would've been a good fit for Detroit.

Leinart going to The Cardinals is the best case scenario for him. 49ers last year would have got him killed. He's not very mobile and the line is horrible, no running game, and no receivers. In AZ he has Edge, Boldin, Fitz, decent line, and a good defense. Plus, Dennie Gren to show him the way.
