Pearman's speedy exit from Hawaii

from previous quotes it seems as though due to injury he fell behind in picking up the playbook. I am wondering if the playbook was just too hard. Seems to me that every year we get one or two players that just take that extra time to pick the playbook. Whether its WR, QB or even defensive players that shoot the wrong gaps.
