Hawaii BB player gets looks from Div I colleges

Post by Scott »

I thought I heard BC or it could have been artie say that there were not any Division I prospects for basketball out of Hawaii this year but looks like we might have one from Punahou

There aren't too many Division I players coming out of Hawaii these days, but Jeremiah Ostrowski, a 5-9 junior point guard from Punahou High in Honolulu, is getting some serious looks from schools on the mainland. Pepperdine, Eastern Washington, Utah and Air Force are all recruiting Ostrowski. He's a bit undersized, but his quickness and scoring ability should allow him to play at the mid-major level.
