Just an observation

Post by sponger48 »

Went to pick up someone at Hauula Elementary yesterday. As I was waiting, the sixth graders came out. There was a set of twins, looked about 5'10" and at least 220. Then there was another kid about 6'1" and about 200. SIXTH GRADERS!!!!

I remember the AD for Kahuku saying that they have a lot of big players, but because they are so big, they can't play until they get to high school.

Just thought it might be of interest.

As a good friend of mine would say, "DAYUM!!!"

That's frinkin huge for a sixth-grader!

I remember Sixth grade (1985-86) for only one thing: my dad's mother died in an auto accident two days before summer vacation for me.

Wyokie, you are THE consummate, sentimental historian of epic proportions. Amazing and fascinating.
