Was she at the 1976 Games?

BTW, refresh my memory but which Games did the U.S. boycott? I know the Soviets boycotted the 1984 Summer Games in Los Angeles.

I miss the days of East vs. West.

That's what I was thinkin. When I herd the last name "Yamaguchi" I said to myself, no matter what, I'd pick her over Kwan, then I look at Kwan, and for the first time, I pick a non-japanees asian over a japaneese one (albet both are american born I believe). There was a hot one at the Oslo games a while back, think she was from Scandanavia somewhere, Wish I could remember her name. I'd hit it, and she's white! \:D/

I have two (2) questions, and this is the wrong thread I know, but I don't give a rip.
Just answer my questions...

1. Who does the term "Asian" refer to?

2. Did "Oriental" become a pejorative term somewhere down the line?

Just curious. Mahalo.

Asian, I believe, is all west of Turkey (Turkey's odd cause it's not suposed to be European, but many consider themselves to be) When I talk about asian though, I refer to everyone east of India, and west of the poly islands.

I never use the oriental term, I think it's become negative.

Time for you to get some help with your cropping skills, lou909.
That pic you posted is a real "bust!" Where's the bottom part you cut off?
