Hawaii and the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Post by wyokie »

Do any of you think a former Hawaii football player will (if not already) be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame?

Before you all ask, NO former Wyoming player had EVER been inducted although Jay Novacek, TE for Dallas and Arizona, should.

Just curious.

Elam is one of the best, if not the best kicker in the game right now. He owns the record for longest field goal ever (63 yards) tied with Dempsey. He currently sits in 11th place all-time NFL points scored, and counting.

Unfortunately, not too many kickers get in the Hall. In fact, only one kicker has made it, so far. Can anyone name him?

How bout Mosi Tatupu? he could make it as a special teamer. I know he didnt play for UH, but he is a former Buffanblu.................

That's not a bad guess. Blanda actually got in as a QB.

Jan Stenerud is the only pure kicker in the Hall...............
