Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
Doesn't the conference already bend over backwards for them? Maybe it's time for them to go. The conference will survive.

Of course he wants to change conference so he can make Rolovich kine money! I think Rolo makes almost double what he makes.

Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
I wish Boise would just go already. Just show them the door. I could care less if Boise leaves. What I do care about is how Boise threats to leave, and think they could use that leverage to get whatever they want. No. If Harshins unhappy so be it. Bye. The MWC will live on.
Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
Good riddance. It will make our conference easier. And nobody gives a rats azz that a second tier conference is slightly more elevated. We will always be second tier. Bye.

Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
let them go, now. the sooner the better. let them play as an independent like byu.
let's see how they fill their schedules with non-conference games being canceled this year and maybe next year as well.

Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
If Boise goes and goes indy... maybe we should, too? 9 independents makes scheduling a little easier. If not, then the MWC would need to invite NMSU to preserve 12 teams and a conference championship game format.
Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
No to independence by UH. Go away to Boise. Enuf already. Let's see if they can find a conference willing to take them and their manini fan base.

Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
they should just go. looking at byu's football schedules over the past years there's major benefits to having a conference affiliation and they may be tired of scheduling indy. picking up byu would be a lateral move or an upgrade, easily.

Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
Boise State has to erect a stadium with a larger capacity since the Albertson's only seats 30K. There was a time that Nebraska sent 50K people to Hawaii for the Hawaii Nebraska game many years ago. Of course, they weren't going to fit in the stadium. There's not enough things to do in Boise to spend a million dollars on so I'm not really certain what Harsin's motive is for talking about leaving the conference. Maybe its to get better bonuses from the MWC for staying with the conference. Boise, I think, currently gets special monetary compensation for playing football in the MWC.

I agree with everyone. Let the Smurfet’s go already! I’m tired of them being the princess of the MW. Bye Bye! Buck Foise!

Maybe Boise can go back to the WAC. Football might be back!

Re: Harsin pushing for Boise State to leave the MWC....Again
they can't go any place.
College football is still about money.
1. Conferences and teams don't want to travel there. To expensive.
2. Time zone travel issues.
3. Like Hawaii geographically undesirable.Who wants to go to Boise?
4. Low academic standards. Not a prestigious institution.
5. Small TV market.
6. Small stadium capacity.
7. Less revenue to visiting teams.
The only team that would benefit in a conference that Boise joins would be Boise. The net effect is every team in the conference would incur more expense and have to share more of their revenue.
