Re: Alonzell Henderson SB
Since was a late 2020 offer (in late February) and never tripped to UH, could possibly be a blueshirt. If not a blueshirt, still wouldn't be allowed to trip UH (even unofficially) nor sign any NLI nor scholarship agreement until May (at earliest) under the current governing NCAA recruiting rules which could still be amended to delay any NLI or scholarship agreement even further beyond May timeframe (depending upon the COVID-19 pandemic situation).
Made 57 receptions totaling 1,016 receiving yards (averaging 17.8 yards per reception) and 9 TDs in 12 games (averaging 4.8 receptions & 84.7 receiving yards per game) during the 2019 season. Was selected to the 2019 California Community College Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA) All-California Community College 1st Team Offense. Would come into Fall Camp as a RS Junior with 2 to play 2.

What I see is great vision, defense awareness, change of direction, change of speed, stutter step and route running.

When he didn't show up in the fall, I felt he was good as gone.

Re: Alonzell Henderson SB Decommits
https://247sports.com/college/hawaii/Ar ... 145692774/Henderson's football journey has had many twists and turns. Due to a series of circumstances, he attended three different high schools over four years and transfer rules cost him most of his senior year. Henderson walked on at UNLV as a running back, then transferred to College of the Canyons for the past two seasons.
Henderson's 1,000-yard redshirt sophomore season earned him two offers from UMass and Southern Miss - and during the COVID-19 pandemic taking a visit to either location appeared unlikely. The Southern California recruit was relieved when an offer came from Hawaii, where he had a two-week stay previously.

Young man appears to have a commitment problem.

He's finding himself in a position that a lot of others are. I don't think we really needed a receiver this recruiting class since we're going to have a TE now. A couple of slots can move outside.
