SALT LAKE CITY – It was a tale of two halves for the University of Utah Football team as they came from 21 points behind to score 38 unanswered in the second half for a 45-28 victory over Washington State to end the 2020 season.

In 2020, Coach Rolovich took over a Washington State football program plagued with arrest and tragedy associated with the prior regime.

I often wondered what's going on in Pullman? I asked friends who went there and was told there is nothing to do but Study and/or Drink. But isn't that true for many other college towns? Is the environment not conducive for local/Polynesian athletes? Is college life just out of control and tolerated by coaches, the AD, President and Chancellor?

Former Washington State wide receiver Kassidy Woods has filed a lawsuit against Nick Rolovich one year after a phone call involving the player and coach was leaked, making national news at the height of college football’s player empowerment movement and in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Woods’ lawsuit, which was filed on Aug. 20 in the player’s home state of Texas, claims “Rolovich’s acts were racist, intentional, malicious, willful, and in gross and reckless disregard of Woods’ constitutional rights.”

The lawsuit also alleges the treatment that Woods received and the acts of Rolovich “were in direct retaliation for the exercise of civil rights secured by the Free Association protected afforded by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.”

If he doesn't win the job sometime this season or next season, he's gone I think.

I think if Washington State and Rolovich don't show some serious improvement this year and loses the Apple Cup to Washington as well, I'm not sure Rolovich makes it to year 3.

I'm sure if not for the large buyout clause that they would have just fired him already just for being a distraction. If something comes out in discovery because of the lawsuit that is grounds for termination for cause, i'm sure they will pull the trigger right away.

I want him to do well enough to keep a decent HC job. I am happy with our current coach. But I would like to see Rolo back some day when there is an opening and he is available at our level/price.

Whoa, WSU gets smacked by first time head coach at USC 45-14. Freshman QB at USC looks better than the starter.
