Maybe we can land some recruits from WAZZU or maybe Chevan's bro Mitchell Quinn may consider coming home. Not sure if they put him on scholie since being a preferred walkon in 2018. 2019he played in 4 games but no stats
WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
FRESHMAN (2018): Preferred walk-on...did not appear in a game...redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Saint Louis High School...as a SENIOR, earned All-State first-team accolades after catching 44 passes for 1,098 yards and 17 touchdowns.

Rolo might be in the conversation amongst sport's writers but that's about all. The Washington St. AD, Patrick Chun, aspires to climb the ladder, so he knows that his future and neck is on the line as well so he will probably look for the best HC WSU money can buy. Probably the likes of the Boise HC (I would think). Some say Rolo would'nt take the job . Ha, ha. He would be out of here in heartbeat. Look at this way if Rolo landed the WSU job he would be moving to a state with no income or property taxes. That's huge. He have a house in Hawaii, one in Washington, a cabin in the country, with a lake and hunting grounds filled with wildlife. He'd be set. Plus if did well at WSU he would be moving up the ladder in addition to challenging himself. That's what it is all about. Here in Hawaii he put a good product on the field, won some big games, only to see attendance go south it must be frustrating for him to be on a treadmill.

Makes some sense to go from $600K to $2M or more. WSU also ran the Air Raid offense for the last 8 years which is a relative of the RNS. So they have the some of the personnel in place and a switch to the RNS wouldn't be a dramatic change.

He is a real candidate for the job from what I've read.
Seems a lot of the Wazzu "insiders" think its a done deal with Rolo to Pullman. We will likely find out soon though as it will likely be done with time to spare before signing day on Feb 5th.
The Air Raid isn't all too different than the R&S. Just a bit different in pass game philosophy and such. So the transition would be not that difficult.

Did a quick check on their returning skill players on offense. WSU is losing their QB and top 3 WRs. So while their depth has Air Raid experience, the main guys are gone. Will that play a factor?

Stress to win in the PAC12 caused Chris Petersen to leave after 5 years. Winning at WAZZU will not come easy. Nor is it a pleasant place to live. My friends who went there said it's a perfect place to study because there is nothing to do in boonie-land

They got Delaura committed that's about it for guys knowing the RNS. With Rolo and JJ admitting it takes 2 years to learn the system. Success will not come soon

Scott Frost was a genius at Oregon and UCF, but after 2 years of bringing a new offense at Nebraska he yet to win more than 5 games

My main concern if Rolo leaves besides who's gonna be HC is...how many commits de-commit to follow Rolo or go elsewhere.

There are a lot of similarities in both systems and actually some of the same plays. So installing the RNS scheme wouldn't be the big issue. The bigger issue is if they have the players.

In recent years many local and/or polynesian athletes (men and women) have gotten in trouble with the law at WAZZU. Some claim they are targeted by law officials, some claim boring+alcohol+racism=scraps.
