I never got to see him play in person, but saw highlights of him on TV and followed him as best as one could in the non-internet days. He may have been the best basketball player in the state, at any level, during his career.

He should have definitely been playing Division 1 ball. I went up against him in a rec league game well after his playing days were over, and nobody could stop him. It was comical, and left me wondering why he wanted to even play against guys that couldn't even guard him. LOL

One of the only other division 2 guards here in Hawaii I would put up there with him is Llewellyn Smalley.
