Re: Collie transferring
Not consistently catching the ball is a HUGE problem for a starting receiver, especially a 3rd year player.uhwarriors wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 12:48 pmYou're right. I wrote this in the R&S thread about Collie.Even though Collie wasn’t always consistent catching the ball, he was always making the right reads and where he was supposed to be.
You can be in the right place but dropping the ball is a momentum killer.

But being in the wrong place can lead to interceptions and be a bigger momentum killer.BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 7:10 pmNot consistently catching the ball is a HUGE problem for a starting receiver, especially a 3rd year player.uhwarriors wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 12:48 pmYou're right. Is Dylan the only player so far to leave? Do we know of any others who left?

Possible destination's
BYU where his dad and 2 brothers went
Or
Southern Utah to team up with Aaron Zwalen

Jeff Grimes has been active on the recruiting trail since being hired, and landing Collie may end up being a priority over the next few months.

Oh boy with highlights like that, both Dylan and Dru should be courted by USC!BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2018 10:02 pm Possible destination's

Re: Collie transferring
I stopped after the first play in his highlights. That was ruled an incomplete pass because he couldn't catch it cleanly in bounds.My3Cats wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 9:22 amOh boy with highlights like that, both Dylan and Dru should be courted by USC!BigWave96744 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2018 10:02 pm Possible destination's

If Dylan does go to BYU, it will be interesting when Hawaii plays them next year. I would be afraid of coming across the middle of Batoon's Platoon

Re: Collie transferring
BYU didn't want Collie after his mission, why would he want to there. I think he is best suited to drop down a level. He doesn't create any separation and not a great route runner.

Smart man. Good school. Free ride. Making football pay for his education. It's like getting paid $60K a year.
