ABA HAWAII HAMMERHEADS

Hawaii has a new professional basketball team, the Hawaii Hammerheads of the ABA. Big Island scored because they have elected Hilo as their teams headquarters! We have 16-18 home games scheduled at the Civic with 4 more games being played on the Kona side. So far, we have 2 7-footers, a 6'10" player from HPU and Hilo's very own, Aukai "The Punisher" Wong who just took the title and MVP Honors at the recently completed Summer College League in Honolulu. Teams that are scheduled to play the Hammerheads already got their calenders marked! Hawaii and hoops in the dead of winter? Oh, hell yes!
