COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- Under a clear blue sky on Sunday in this little town in Central New York, Barry Larkin and the late Ron Santo joined the pantheon of the baseball gods as the newest members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
That's a bit of a stretch. Davey was pretty good and should have been mentioned by Barry, at least in my opinion. Obviously, Barry has a different opinion. But the best SS ever? There are quite a few better than Concepcion whom I have seen, and then based on stats, quite a few who were much better whom I did not see play.
