Re: How about this?
The last line in the article says it all:QB Masoli's dismissal caps stunning fall from grace

EUGENE, Ore. — Jeremiah Masoli finished last season at the Rose Bowl, already bestowed with Heisman Trophy buzz. Most agreed he had the potential to do something special at Oregon this season.
Just five months later, Masoli, a Saint Louis School alum, is a disgraced former Duck, dumped from the team for wasting a second chance in a stunning fall from grace.
Full article:“He got his second chance, plain and simple,” Taylor said. “He blew it.”

Most people don't get a second chance.
He probably would've excelled with Georgia Tech.

Re: Jeremiah Masoli KICKED OFF team
Going back to his High School days, didn't he run into trouble at his school in the Bay Area, thus resulting in his transferring to St. Louis? Talk about lolo. Some guys just don't learn. Oh well, he can now go into the "real world", get a job, and spend the rest of his life downing 12-packs wondering, "what if?"

Re: Jeremiah Masoli KICKED OFF team
http://theswamp51.wordpress.com/2010/06 ... -the-team/Masoli’s history of legal issues dates back to his days playing high school ball at Serra, where he was expelled from the school for robbing people at Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo. His family then sent him to Hawaii to try to help him reform. Masoli attended St. Louis School in Honolulu, a powerhouse school that helped develop his skills and get him more recognition..
.
.
.
He comes with so much baggage and endless question marks that it’s difficult to envision anyone taking a chance on him when there’s only a year to utilize his undeniable talents on the football field. Unfortunately, this may be the last we hear about Jeremiah Masoli.

No. That was the RB, Lablount or something like that.wyokie wrote:Isn't he the moron that punched the Boise State idiot that year on national T.V.?
Otherwise, Masoli is a just-turned-20-something that made several bad decisions, not much different than many kids that age I know.
Not much different than me when I was that age.
The difference is his are more highlighted because he's had more and better opportunities not to make those poor decisions.
