Unfortunately there is no mock draft. There's the live draft and that's it. One thing I would do is have your system checked to make sure you can do an online draft. Go to the league's main page on yahoo and there should be a link to test your system for the draft. When you click on the link, it'll test your system and if you're good to go, you're good to go. If not, it'll say what to do to fix. You can also do your preranking on that main page too.tangomike wrote:i've never had to draft on line before. how will it work and do you want us on line a few minutes before the draft time? will we have a mock draft prior?
Arrive to the draft at least 15-20 minutes before. There should be a link on the main page to join the draft. When you join, a new page will open where you'll see your team's positions to fill, the other teams, the list of players to choose from at every position, and more importantly, the draft order.
Don't worry though. When you get there, you can chat with the other players who are there and you can ask questions. With a 12 team league, allow at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours to draft. You'll have 1 minute 30 seconds to select and if none is made, that's where your rankings come into play. You can also prerank right there on the draft window so you have options.
That's kinda the basics I think so let me know if you have any other questions.
4 more days guys!
Often wrong...seldom in doubt!

Fringe808 can you put up the link to the fantasy site. I guess we're going with only your league. Were there a lot of people that still wanted to play? If so we can always expand the league to 16? Thanks for the leg work Fringe808!

Take care of yourself. You ended up with some pretty good players like Tomlinson and Rudi Johson.wyokie wrote:Getting out of the way of a major hurricane is FAR more important than a silly ole fantasy draft.Kobayashi wrote:I've had to evacuate due to Hurricane Katrina. I wasn't even thinking of picking LT (the RB with the Chargers). To be honest, other than Barry Sanders who has long since retired and Dabby Dawson who played at UW but never played pro I never cared too much about RBs.tangomike wrote:Kobayashi, hope you are allright. you guys have been getting hit hard this year.
did everybody freak out when i didn't take LT, or did they freak out when wyokie didn't take LT?
I subscribe to Don Coryell's "you live by the pass and you die by the pass." Like the WAC was from the early '80s until about 1995.
