Whom will have surgery next week in Miami to have a tear in his shoulder repaired which he was playing with most of the year. Please give your prayers and best wishes. Thank you.

Hmm? That explains it.
On Ed Reed's INT that he returned for a TD in that playoff game, Samson has a legitimate shot at stopping Ed Reed before he scores. He would have had to go through Ray Lewis though, to get to Reed. Ray Lewis just put a little chip-block on Samson, and that was enough to take Samson out. And everytime I watched the replay, I was thinking Samson looked really weak ... or scared even. Now I'm convinced it's this shoulder injury I wasn't aware of.
