Most of the QB's you listed had their best season during their senior season.

very true, very true

They were all seniors, but the quarterbacks that were under June Jones brought it together with about 4-5 games left in the season and they only had one season as a starter under JJ. Do you think it is a senior confidence/mindset or more of a playing time/experience factor that gave the previous quarterbacks the edge that they needed to be as good as they were?

Anyone think that Colt will crack the top 5 in this list? beegphuk, brought back an old post in the other forum and it got me searching and I spotted this post from december 2003. :) I still remember talking about this subject, man how time flies!

It depends on what people are looking at. To me, the QB's job is to throw the ball. Colt may already be in the top 5 throwers we've ever had. 68% completion percentage and a 155.5 rating last year, thats big time. Timmy's best year, senior, he went 59.5 and 135.4.

TC! Yeah, he threw a lotta picks, BUT, his last season, he had a near 3:1 ratio! What was our record during TC's time at the helm? How many bowl games did TC lead us to? We lost to Tulane because TC was knocked out. TC was the diffrence against Cincinatti, I believe. He lead us to wins over MSU and NW, and two GREAT bowlgames. He did more with "less" (though his WRS were underated, he didn't have the benifit of taller WRs). Teams KNEW what he was gonna do, and yet he still won more often than not. He is recognized in the history of the NCCA as a recordholder. He is in the NFL, while others are not. TC helped us gain national prominance, and hell was mentioned in CSI:NY! If you can get recognition in NY a city of 8.1 million, you know you're the man!

C'mon TC, the hell with the Eagles go to the JETS! You could play there, cause Chad can't stay healthy! You'd be the number 2 right away! Think about it, NYC, you know you wanna be there! My hometown's the greatest!

That should be better, but no less appealing. C'mon TC, J...E..T...S...Jets Jets Jets. Hell, thoes dirty eagles stole our chant, just chaning the name. Philly wishes it was New York.

Wow! Greg Tipton is on the list. I was just a kid when he played but I remember him being pretty horrible. At least he made it to the pros during the NFL strike though.

TC did more than win for us, he brought attention to our team, and maybe, recruits. Plus he's recognized forever! Just ask any college football fan around, who do you associate Hawaii? Most will say TC!

TC only had one vote, now he's caught up to Rolo! I remember the same thing when we voted between Grunke and Brennan. Grunke had it all, and then, bam, Brennan took it! Recognize greatness! Without TC's success, who knows if we'd be recruiting like this? \:D/ (not to take anything from the coaches, but TC's numbers may have brought Brennan here, in part, and many of our QBs and Wrs)

I have to go with my QB. Dan the man. If only he came here as a freshman. He would've been even better than TC. Of course, I have a BIASED opinion. Not to get you guys confused with that UNBIAS fan, HawaiiSashitme.
