Heavy Interest For Forward
by Greg Hicks of Scout.com, November 9, 2004 at 9:48pm ET

Blake Wallace Profile

Blake Wallace, 6-7 JR SF Anaheim (Calif.) Servite, has a chance to be the top player at his position in the west for 2006. A very skilled forward, Wallace can shoot, handle and pass like a guard. In fact, he's so good with the ball that his high school coach plans on having Wallace play some point guard this season.
We spoke with Wallace last night and asked about schools showing early interest in him.

"I'm hearing from a lot of schools," said Wallace. "Hawaii just offered. Some of the other schools are Cal, UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, North Carolina State, Florida, Syracuse, UConn, Georgetown and Gonzaga."
