He'll back up Sam Cassell and Troy Hudson, but with both of them hurt, he'll get some minutes. Nice work, AC!

Also, Jeff Portnoy needs his own show. He's done a great job filling in for Scott Robbs on The Sports Bar.

Good for AC, I hope he does well enough to hold he spot and perhaps move up the depth charts on a permanent basis..

I hope he doesn't get injured, if he's healthy I'm sure he'll make us all proud!

Is Timberwolves a running team? Just want to know cause AC tends to play better when teams run fast breaks and stuff?

It's good he's back in the league. Hope he has an awesome year.

I think the Wolves like to run. KG is mobile and while they aren't the youngest or quickest team in the league I've seen them execute the fast break pretty well over the years.

Oh yeah, BYU-Hawaii's Yuta Tabuse made the Suns roster after they cut Howard Eisley, so congratulations to Tabuse as well.

Carter spent part of last season with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 4.4 points, 2.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds in five games played. His contract was bought out by the Spurs on Dec. 5. Carter, who played his college ball at the University of Hawaii, has career averages of 5.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 22.1 minutes played in 251 regular-season contests over five NBA seasons with Miami (1999-2000 through 2002-03) and San Antonio (2003-04). Carter has also spent time in the Continental Basketball Association with the Yakima Sun Kings.
