Re: Future of UH road uniforms unclear

I guess they can't use last years uniforms because there is no Nike logo on them? They don't have them anymore. They auctioned off all of white, black or green ones. They auctioned off last year's uni's? Who's bright idea was that? What they should've done was use last year's uni's as practice jers...

25,000$ for just the jerseys? Hmmm... If the team gets say about 500 jersey's, to cover for damaged ones and enough to outfit the team, that comes out to about 50$ a jersey. If the team is being sponsored by Nike, then the street value would be about 100$. Damn, never realized the costs were that h...

Actually, this uniform controversey isn't the first. Anyone remember those bright lime flouresent green uniforms that the basketball team wore about 10 years ago? Those were bright and an eyesore. But for some reason, I like them better than these silver numbered ones the football team wears. Do so...

Peters, the defensive team captain, is a Sr. He could try and apply for medical redshirt but how many of those do the NCAA approve? I'm hoping he does though... i hope he does too. that would be awesome to have him playing next year. This is Peters' 5th year already and he has had a medical redshir...

At the Na Koa lunch today, June Jones said Ian Sample had a torn ligament. I think he said it was the PCL (might have been the MCL). I'm pretty sure it wasn't the ACL. More on the lunch later.

I agree that some of teh guys should get some experience in blowouts but JJ could also be saving them to redshirt. Leonard will probably redshirt unless there is some miraculous healing. Cox will not start until he understands the blocking schemes which he has not. You may not remember James Fender...

Re: QB

I watched the game. Hawaii got good pressure on the Qb when they blitzed. But, when they didn't blitz, there wasn't much pressure. WHile the UH defense showed improvement, I place a lot of the blame on the Idaho Qbs poor play, and his receivers dropped a lot of balls, and also seemd to be afraid of...

Re: Road Unis

Anyone getting really tired of the amount of silver? The helmets look awesome. Helmets: green on silver Jerseys: silver on white Don't you think the whole uniform would look good if they just made the numbers green? or at least black..... Apparently it is not possible to make a change this year, ho...

Official count - 3 sacks. There were two hurries where the rush caused bad passes resulting in the interception and Moe's big hit that laid out #5.
