Re: unpaid D-I football
Saint Louis won already. OIA is complete okole besides Kahuku. Kahuku is also small this year and not to good on deffense as previous years. Punahou and Kam are both not scoring more than 14 on Saint louis unless its garbage points. If any one believes another Hawaii team can beat Saint louis you ar...

Re: unpaid D-I football
Kam and Punahou both are not good enough to beat saint louis. To small and weak. Saint Louis runs through everyone OIA not nearly as good. St Louis should smash this week vs a junk Punahou team.

Re: unpaid D-I football
@HaterOfElitists- What are you even talking about?? You need to get a grip or take a class in reading comprehension. Kauai can play whatever division they want, they choose DII and that fine with me. Could they compete in DI? Of course they could, but they don't! St. Louis has at least two starters...

Re: unpaid D-I football
Anybody know the status of Tristan Nichols at Saint Louis? He was nowhere to be seen at the last Iolani game. No matter where he is currently, he should stick with football if his heart is in it. He looked like the best DL in the state in the snaps he had against Punahou until he was ejected from t...

Re: Offense and Defense rankings so far
Tua not playing explains the low scoring offense but does not explain the 2 passing TD's against their D, regardless of how many possessions iolani had they scored both passing TD's from 20yd out on well executed plays, not flukey accidental TD's. We will see what happens this week agains Punahou. ...

Re: unpaid D-I football
Honestly this was probably one of the worst reffed games ever. From the holding penalties to not spotting our ball correct on an out of bounds kickoff or making our player come out for a play when hes not hurt.EITSwarrior wrote:Agreedgopunahou wrote:I think the refs are doing a bad job all around.

Re: unpaid D-I football
The stagnant offense second half had about 30% due to penalties and 70% due to tua starting to cramp in the 3rd quarter pretty much taking him out until the very last possession which he was still struggling with cramps.

Re: unpaid D-I football
Punahou should sit Tuliloa. Saint Louis gave up 70 yards rushing to a team that just put up 287 in one half against Mililani. Honestly even if Millilani comes home with a win that 287 yards has to be a huge concern. There's still a long season ahead of us but if Coach York is not able to patch thin...

Re: unpaid D-I football
Not to mention that Tua played about the first half of both games. When Tua is out the Saint Louis offense has a lot of quick 3 and outs which gives the opposing offense more time on the field. Just some food for thought.

Re: unpaid D-I football
That defensive breakdown doesn't really do justice to defenses. I think we all agree that Kahuku is the best defensive team in Hawaii but i'd have Saint Louis as second and heres why. Saint Louis' defensive starters played probably about the first quarter and a half against fagaitua and about half o...

Re: unpaid D-I football
For those wondering what happened to Luca he was sitting out because of turf toe but seems to be recovering fine. Also had one starting safety out from injury but should be back soon. Drew will be fine for next weeks game.

Re: unpaid D-I football
Everybody looking too much into the scrimmages just from my opinion. Saint Louis had 3 offensive starters out last scrimmage against Millilani and back to what someone said earlier if this was a real game they definitely would have taken it more serious.

Re: unpaid pre-season D-I football
@backyard ballaz: You have St Louis at #6? That low? I'm assuming that the Star-Advertiser will announce them tomorrow at #2. Can Farrington beat St Louis?[/quote] Yea, I believe that low at this point in the season. If you did an on paper ranking, St Louis would be right up there with Mililani as t...
