Re: 2024 Football Season

Hey, did you guys hear about the crazy situation involving the St Louis v Kamehameha game on Friday? That game is not to decide the second-round champion, as originally intended; instead it's the Open ILH championship game, which means the winner goes-on to the Open State tourney, while the loser ...

Re: The Tariff Man

@passepartout: While Trump is not a true conservative, he is your typical Republican in that he looks-out for the rich. Also, your average MAGA is a White racist allergic to facts.

Re: 2024 General Election

Now for the entertaining part, celebs claiming they are moving outta the U.S. because Trump won the election but...they (the celebs) won't actually move outta the U.S.  Some Trump supporters want to see liberal celebrities to get their comeuppance. Because they make a lot more money ...

Re: 2024 General Election

@Walkoff Balk: I don't think liberal stalwarts are going to let MAGA walk all over them. One such liberal hero is California Governor Gavin Newsom. Like anyone else, he's not perfect, but he's a liberal lion, and he roars . There are many more liberal stalwarts waiting in the wings. Also, let's not ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

There were the polls, and the stories. And how the Republican party is in trouble. It looks like the Democrats are the ones in trouble. MAGA movement trumps them all. I don't know what the Democrats could have done differently. I'll say it, other than selecting a male as a candidate. Perhaps ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

I no longer recognize this nation. In one day it has brushed aside its democratic principles, a respect for the rule of law, and compassion for the less fortunate replacing it with greed, avarice, and hate. I'm sixty five now and the principles that I spent my life supporting have been thrown out ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

I think the 2016 election was pivotal since Trump said and did so many things that should have been disqualifying. Meanwhile Hillary came off arrogant and did not have a ground game thinking that Trump was his worst enemy. After he got the spotlight, it was hard to get him out of the spotlight ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

It’s pretty much over. Republicans will control the house, senate, presidency, and Supreme Court. Let’s see if his promises come true. Thank you all for letting me vent prior to the election. This is what America wanted. Hoping for the best. @OIAwrestling: 1. We don't know that the Republicans will ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

Heard Trump got 277 Electoral votes. If so, he's won the election.

Re: Girls' Volleyball '24

@OIAwrestling: I like Kamehameha Schools, so I'm glad they won. However, I think the Raider girls are ticked at them, and can't wait to get back at them next season. I'd have to imagine that Iolani alumni are also ticked. I mean, the Raiders losing the State title match, must have totally sucked to ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

Hate to say it, but at this point, Trump may win the election. If the Blue Wall states don't come through, Trump will win. More bad news: Trump is ahead in the Blue Wall states.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

@gopunahou: Well, some non-White conservatives support Trump, but unlike most Republicans, Trump isn't a true conservative; he's a political opportunist. He spouts conservative talking points, only to mollify conservatives in his base. It's instructive to remember that he was once a Democrat.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election

@OIAwrestling: "YOU da MAN!" So glad to have yet another Harris Democrat on this thread. Last month, one of my colleagues at work who is local Chinese, said almost the same thing you said above: "I don't know how anyone who isn't haole, could vote for him; he's a White racist".

Re: Girls' Volleyball '24

Another massive upset: Kamehameha beats Iolani for the D1 State title, 3-1. That is off-the-charts nuts . Iolani alumni must be ticked . KSK played great. That wasn’t a fluke. Congrats to them. @OIAwrestling: Not to take away anything from the Warriors, but I think the Raiders came-out flat. I mean, ...

There's a doodoo-load of photos from the match, on ScoringLive, as well as a doodoo-load of photos from the D2 title match, in which Hawaii Baptist Academy beat ...
