Re: Tupu Alualu new St Louis HC
I think Timmy Chang lettered in baseball too in high school. But he chose football. Are you a scout for the MLB team or teams? In Hawai'i. Chang never played baseball. It was basketball that was his other strong sport. Dude started between his freshman and junior years but didn’t play as a senior. ...

In Hawai'i. @four25wow: No, I'm just a washed-up old fossil who still loves high school sports. Can't get enough of it. If Chang played baseball for St Louis, I didn't know...

Re: Tupu Alualu new St Louis HC
Maybe Alualu found God after the incident at Ala Moana Shopping Center. It was speculated that Tupu AluAlu was a member of Word Of Life Christian Center on Queen St. Downtown, Honolulu. This was on a religion syndicated show on TV before. Still is, though I'm not sure if it is still on or if Tupu A...

Re: HS Soccer
This post has nothing to do with soccer, but with baseball and softball; there aren't any threads about either sport. Punahou alumni are likely harboring bitter and hostile feelings toward Maryknoll School. This past Thursday, Punahou lost to Maryknoll in baseball, 4-2. This despite the fact that Pu...

Hello all. It's been some 11 days since the last post in the High School Sports section, so I thought I'd get the section rolling again. (The "HS" in my User Name stands for, "High School".) Anyway, this post is about volleyball. There's no separate thread for volleyball, and I ...

Re: Tupu Alualu new St Louis HC
@Gridiron88: St Louis may take the ILH this coming season, but they'll have trouble with Kahuku and Mililani at States.

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
@FlyingSquirrel808: Kamehameha and St Louis might prefer that light not be shed on what's going in the ILH. That way, they can keep finishing at or near the top in the league.

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
Any early predictions for favorites to win states next year? Ksk is pretty senior loaded but most likely still are my favorites. Read previous posts.... there's a few on the subject already. Curious on ur thoughts on punahou, Iolani, st. Louis. All were powerhouses in there day and not that long ag...

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
One poster might be unbiased in saying there’s a potential dynasty in Ewa beach…but the Koa head was brought back to the hill…and with harbottle and miller making runs, the real potential dynasty is in Kekuhaupio gym. I'm not sure if potential is the right word... They're well on their way. Last 4 ...

Did St Louis School's AD or Principal vet Alualu? This is making the school look pretty bad. Also, Alualu is an alumnus.

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
I saw the kusumoto match from a distance. Idk what happened. Looked like kusumoto had Diesel on his back then the ref stopped it for potentially dangerous. No points? Evan was visibly upset. I need to watch the replay. Kamehameha has had their way the entire season, including having 2/4 coaches vot...
