Re: Tupu Alualu new St Louis HC
@Gridiron88: St Louis may take the ILH this coming season, but they'll have trouble with Kahuku and Mililani at States.

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
@FlyingSquirrel808: Kamehameha and St Louis might prefer that light not be shed on what's going in the ILH. That way, they can keep finishing at or near the top in the league.

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
Any early predictions for favorites to win states next year? Ksk is pretty senior loaded but most likely still are my favorites. Read previous posts.... there's a few on the subject already. Curious on ur thoughts on punahou, Iolani, st. Louis. All were powerhouses in there day and not that long ag...

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
One poster might be unbiased in saying there’s a potential dynasty in Ewa beach…but the Koa head was brought back to the hill…and with harbottle and miller making runs, the real potential dynasty is in Kekuhaupio gym. I'm not sure if potential is the right word... They're well on their way. Last 4 ...

Re: Tupu Alualu new St Louis HC
Did St Louis School's AD or Principal vet Alualu? This is making the school look pretty bad. Also, Alualu is an alumnus.

Re: 2025 Football Recruits.
Kahuku not letting St Lulu take more kidz out of our backyad. We know St Lulu no can win anyting witout hired gunz. Rooted not recruited! @Gridiron88: During the '80s and '90s, St Louis was ripping-off McKinley by raiding MWH. MWH students attend McKinley High. Alualu, the new St Louis HC, is one s...

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
I saw the kusumoto match from a distance. Idk what happened. Looked like kusumoto had Diesel on his back then the ref stopped it for potentially dangerous. No points? Evan was visibly upset. I need to watch the replay. Kamehameha has had their way the entire season, including having 2/4 coaches vot...

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
@808WrestlingFan: Interesting observations. But then, how do we explain Moanalua? Do they have an outstanding feeder program? They weren't always strong in wrestling; only over the past five years at most, right? Unless coaching is a factor. If it's not so much strictly talent that makes a school st...

Re: 2023-2024 Wrestling Season
What’s everyone’s thoughts on team championship? KSK and Moanalua the front runners? Does St. louis have a shot? Kalani and Mililani (without Lee and Guevara) had a tight race for 2nd in the oia team scores separated by 1 pt I believe. Could one of them put it together at State? Kapolei could have ...

Re: hawaii 5-0 makes a comeback
@Walkoff Balk:
For Boomers like me, the original Five-0 series ('68-'80) can't be beat. That was a better Hawaii back then. All new series are imposters; they can never replicate the Hawaii we remember from '68 to '80.

Re: 2024 Football Season
@ChadFukuoka: 1. Kaimuki, Roosevelt and Kaiser don't have MWH in their geographic area. For some 40 years, MWH has been a gold mine of football talent. 2. Though Kaiser is in East Honolulu, it's still considered a town school. 3. Actually, McKinley hasn't been that bad in boys' basketball over the p...

Re: 2024 Football Season
Kale Ane has been a disappointment after 3 years at McKinley. His only improvement is the number of players on the team but their performance has remained the same, losing and by large margins. I thought after 3 years Ane would have a more competitive team. Has the time for Ane passed like it passe...

Re: HS Soccer
@ChadFukuoka: I would doubt it. St Louis School has--for some four decades--been recruiting football players from McKinley High because players from MWH are in McKinley High's district. MWH has long been a source of outstanding football players. Aside from that, I doubt that schools are recruiting s...

Re: HS Boys Basketball
I also checked Scoring Live before I came to this site, and this score did stick out. I don't follow soccer closely, but there's not really a way to "run out the clock" in that sport. In football, you can stop passing and run the ball up the middle. You can also run the play clock down be...
