Re: The new tentative new MWC & PAC12
https://x.com/MattBrownEP/status/1841833239037526521 If travel subsidies go away, then UH should join as a full member. Also in talks is selling UH tv rights and getting rid of PPV and put UH with the other MWC teams in their media rights. That would give UH a full share of the TV money. If we go ...

Re: New Aloha Stadium & TC Ching Expansion
How much does the entertainment district affect all of this? And do we really need it? The entertainment district is part of the incentive to get private developers for the stadium on board. Plus whatever revenue the entertainment district makes goes toward stadium maintenance, something which was ...

Re: Is the RNS not the answer?
Watched how UNLV defended against Fresno, they played 3 down lineman and 2 LBs with 6 DBs! I expect to see the same defense when we play them. We need to make sure our running game has improved by then!!

Re: The new tentative new MWC & PAC12
Is it really an ideal location though? Sure, it's great for students, but parking is horendous. There's also no tailgating, no seat backs, and no cover from the rain. Its way too small and everyone is crunched together. Doesn't put a real gameday feel in the average fan. Going out to Aloha Stadium ...

Re: mountain west/pac2 agreement
Just read that Sac State is building a new stadium so they can move up to FBS. It'll be 25,000 seats capacity ( isn't that 5,000 more than the proposed Aloha stadium?). Anybody wanna take bets on who gets their new stadium built first LOL?

Re: LB/DB Haydon Caston from TX commits
When is the last time we had a 10.8 guy on defense? I can't think of any off the top of my head. And he's a LB/CB, not a CB. That time was a HS Junior, so he might get a little faster in his Senior year. [/quo I'll bet all of our DB transfers run in the 10.8 range. Also, acceleration and fluidity ...

After Nick Saban retired, he did an interview and said recruits now don't ask about the program or the education part they ask " HOW MUCH"!!

Re: 2024 Football Season
@BowTow: Yes, but that was before '74. From '74 on, Waipahu's archrival was Pearl City, as that was the year Pearl City had its first senior class, and therefore for the first time was "fully armed" (enrollment-wise) to take-on Waipahu in sports. Pearl City High was established to relieve the ...

Re: RBs in the TC era
Is it recruiting, position coaching, players in the wrong position???? It a head scratcher. Our running game seems like mostly TG's walkons, 2 of which were even RBs Need more creativity to get the ball into the hands of Cordero, Hines, Boyd, Barfield or Vaughn Didn't Hines average like 7 YAC as a ...

Re: NEXT QB - Shager Was Exposed
Everyone tends to blame the QB. And blame comes with the job of being the QB, Schager never has and more then likely never will throw anyone under the bus. To complete a pass a number of things need to happen. 1. you need to get your best receivers on the field 2. the right play needs to be called ...
