Re: Hawaii QB1 &2 (1999-Current)

I can accept this. How about a more accurately throwing QB, especially while standing in the pocket with protection? I see balls thrown on the turf and behind receivers quite often, and little to no YAC. I mean did you see those drops on those accurate passes? Show me an accurate QB under constant ...

Re: Hawaii QB1 &2 (1999-Current)

TC really needs to include Alejado in future plans for the offense and not give him the inkling about transferring. Schager is a serviceable QB but he is a drop back, pro style QB, not an RnS QB and it shows with the current offensive output. What's a RNS QB? Any QB can be a RNS QB. A drop back ...

No more travel subsidies is a huge win. Lets just hope the MWC TV deal for this upcoming iteration of the conference is decent.

Re: New Aloha Stadium & TC Ching Expansion

The Honolulu City Council would rather payoff a lawsuit to the family of a person committing a crime than support UH sports. Well that lawsuit is a CC of Honolulu issue so that's part of their job. UH sports as part of the UH system which is a state entity falls under the State of Hawaii government ...

Re: New Aloha Stadium & TC Ching Expansion

The entertainment district is part of the incentive to get private developers for the stadium on board. Plus whatever revenue the entertainment district makes goes toward stadium maintenance, something which was an obvious issue for the old stadium. Do we need it? It's arguable but it makes sense ...

Re: New Aloha Stadium & TC Ching Expansion

How much does the entertainment district affect all of this? And do we really need it? The entertainment district is part of the incentive to get private developers for the stadium on board. Plus whatever revenue the entertainment district makes goes toward stadium maintenance, something which was ...

Re: New Aloha Stadium & TC Ching Expansion

NASED probably not going to happen in my remaining lifetime. It's hard not to be cynical, but this kind of thinking is part of the reason why things take forever to get done in Hawaii. Rail and stadium being the primary recent examples. Not to forget Frank's rail, Super Ferry, Thirty Meter ...

Personally this WHOLE mess coulda been avoided if the two morons (Oregon State & Wazzu) just did a complete reverse merger with the entire 12 team MW and add in Gonzaga and call it a day!!!!!

Re: NEXT QB - Shager Was Exposed

In this case the math is wrong. The production stats don't lie. In the first three games TMA 2 catches, Panoke 2 catches, Pupunu 1 catch and Nishigaya 1 catch. They wouldn't be starting for any team that I know of. Others are more productive. I'm afraid you're talking about something completely ...

Re: NEXT QB - Shager Was Exposed

It doesn't matter who the deep threat is. If only two receivers are a threat the D will take that deep threat away. All four receivers need to be a threat. As it stands only two starters are a threat. The other two haven't been a threat in three games. two receivers with three catches in three ...
