Re: GM1: UH @Vandy Game Thread
Can't win when you playing refs and other team. What bad calls are you referring to? I’ll answer that. The reversal call. Not enough evidence to overturn in my opinion. Unless the ref had different angles to view, the video they showed on TV was a bad angle gives false perspective. Plus line judge ...

Re: Senior OG Stephen Bernal-Wendt now on scholarship
Stephan Bernal-Wendt (SBW) is an extreme example of the 2 inch rule. Normally, the 2 inch rule applies to recruits who inflate their heights in HS to help them get recruiting attention. When they arrive on campus, they lose 2 inches in height. I don't know what SBW was listed as in HS, since he was ...

Nice pickup, I think he went on a mission, so could still have 3 years eligibility left

Re: Intel on this year's team
Thanks for the summary. UH released the 2 deep roster and matches what you said about Mardner, Smart and Phillips starting. Also, your comment about transfers contributing is spot on. We picked up 12 total transfers this year and all but one (Kolby Wyatt) are listed on the 2 deep. Azunna, Baker, Phi...

Re: North Texas grad transfer WR Rico Bussey Jr. commits
Someone on the other board said that Calvin Turner will play running back. Makes sense. Helps in RB depth and opens up a spot on receivers (with his talent and speed, I figured he was going to win a starting spot at receiver)

Re: Post game thoughts vs Nevada!!!
best, most complete game in years. all phases, defense, offense and special teams.
looking at the schedule now, i think we have a good chance to win the division, with fresno and san diego at home.

Re: Kahuku OL Micah Soliai Howlett (6-3, 295) Commits
Can someone educate me on "Phase 2" What does that mean? Rolo used it. Does that mean 2nd year of R&S? He will be good for Hawaii. But 295lbs? What do you eat up there in Kahuku? That's a nice size, but we are talking about high school students. Rolo said phase 2 is playing and winnin...

UW is 2nd tier (academic) behind stanford and cal. on par with ucla and usc... maybe a notch below, but slightly above colorado and utah. arizona, arizona st and oregon are 3rd tier. oregon...

You’ll be a genius if you win this one.cabanalane wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 4:51 am Always get chance, but I don't think Oregon is as dysfunctional as Arizona. And the "power" of the Pac-12 will show.
UH will have a solid game, cleaned up a lot of the mistakes. A good game. But..
