Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck. If it looks like a champion and runs like a champion and sounds like a champion it must be a champion. good Luck on Maui.

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

Pastrun

LIke I said, I am sorry for you. And yes I will be at the meets to watch my girls run. You should come over and talk to me personally rather than do what you are doing here. Or better yet why don't you just call me since you know me so well.

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

Pastrun I was wondering when you would join this forum. I am glad we live in the USA so we can express ourselves. Wether it is stats, good info, friendly jostling or personally lashing out with anger like you. As far as influence on the current squad at Seabury, i coached some of them from grades 2 ...

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

Why are you so hypocritical. How many times have I read in here. "Dam Punahou wins again" or "I wish someone would beat Punahou" all i did was say what you were thinking or wishing for. Com on coaches whats so hard about it. Duncan takes average runners and makes them good runners, how hard is that....

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

I think you missed my point about track, let me elaborate. Most teams go up against Punahou with no idea or will they could beat them. Seabury is different. Not only do they try to beat them but they believe they can. Big difference. It is instilled by the coaches. As Seabury says Puna Who.

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

What ever you want to believe is OK. I made a prediction last year and it turned out 100% true. I will stick next to what I say. Do you think that Seabury just forgot what happened four years ago. And yes I like ducks Quack Quack.

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

You have not seen all the ducks yet. You should have learned from track. Different coach different team, the meet is on Maui.

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

You just stated why private schools have such an advantage over public schools. Not only do there elite athletes train out side of the campus sports like track and swimming and others but they are being coached by state of the art professional coaches, they only show up once or twice a week to show ...

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

It is easy. Start a USATF running club. Call the club a name like" The Big island Jack Rabbits". Have your runners sign up with USATF as club members. Then it is covered under USATF insurance. Each runner pays a small fee like $15 to be part of the club. The fee to start the club is $35. No attachme...

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

I would count on it. But it is not rocket science here. There are two teams out there that have a chance to upset Punahou, you can guess which two I am talking about, one of them is from Maui, the other is from the Big Island. I just wanted to plant the seed. Lets get going!!. No time to waste.

Re: 2011 High School Cross Country

Ok for years I have been saying to coaches it is all in the start, the first mile, in some years it was over after the first 1200 meters. So here is a heads, here is the first mile of the state meet course. http://www.flotrack.org/video/502344-2007-Hawaii-State-XC-championships. Look who is up front...

Re: 2011 High School track and field

It is 9am on Maui just woke up what a night. Like this is going to be a wet one. I heard one thunder clap which got me thinking around 2am what if it starts thunder and lightning on Saturday, what are the contingencies. Will it continue on Sunday or next weekend?. Just heard more thunder.
