I don't think that either AD candidate will have someone in mind so they will keep Taylor.
I think that in everyone's mind he did enough and I am ok if he gets a shorter contract (3 years or less)

Re: Benji Taylor...Head Coach for UH Warriors next 3-5 yrs
Got to always come back and admit when you're wrong. May not like how he does it, but that's something I will need to get used too.
He got the results I think are needed to be the coach for the next 2-3 years. He will have a top 2 finish in the Big West which should lead to him being the coach.

Re: Coach Taylor and the "powers that be"...................
At this point of the season, the team with Coach Taylor at the helm: Men’s basketball (one home game remaining) averaging 6,108 is close to Wahine volleyball’s 6,652 average per home game. Even without Isaac Fotu, and promising frosh Sammis Reyes, a back-to-back 20 win season is money in the bank. ...

Taylor's not getting us there either we are middle of the pack still. Taylor is more of the same from Gib.
My suggestion would be to go after a VCU assistant Jeremy Ballard would be awesome or a Gonzaga Assitant. Or maybe Erin Ganot.

Re: Benji Taylor...Head Coach for UH Warriors next 3-5 yrs
I'm sorry but please no Coach Taylor. There is no way you can convince me that he was not a part of the violations that have put us in a tough situation. As for the teams success I think that has more to do with a very weak schedule than anything else. Our signature win is Pittsburgh in which we cau...

Re: NCAA alleges serious violations by UH men's basketball
All this cheating and lying and no NCAA appearances????
This just shows how bad of a Coach Gib was.
I'm sorry but Taylor got to go too. There is no way he didn't know any of this was going on. Time to clean house.

Re: Shift of power IF.........
Undftd The group of Alumni headed by these guys have pledged 3million to the school. That's why they went a head with the groundbreaking and why you have seen so many changes at the athletic department. So no matter what you think about how much money these guys have or don't have some how they have...

Re: Shift of power IF.........
1. Name one 'rich alumni' who would really impact the school in the amount of money they NEED. (Millions) 2. Which alumni kids would go to STL that arent already there? where are they all hiding? To answer question number 1 Kreutz, the Raiola brothers, Chris Fuamatu Mafala, Gesser, Chang I am not a...

Re: Who's Pearl City Football Coach?
I disagree with the moving up and down. Most of the time they have a team move up based on the previous years record but that team had a bunch of seniors and so now they move up with a really young team and get smashed. I think there should be a criteria and if you want to play red then by all means...

Re: Garett Jefferson leaving
This is my frustration with the whole Gib thing. Each of the past years I have heard people say that the talent has been upgraded on this roster and each year the same results. So no I don't think that this roster is better than what would be Wisemans Senior year or Shaq Stokes junior year. What I h...

Re: Garett Jefferson leaving
So are we saying that this is the year we get 20 wins and go to the NIT??? Who evaluated the talent that left??? Wouldn't it be the same staff that evaluated this group??? Are we so sure that this group is that much better than what has been brought in before??? Last year at this time all I heard wa...
