Re: 2016 Presidential Election
I think the 2016 election was pivotal since Trump said and did so many things that should have been disqualifying. Meanwhile Hillary came off arrogant and did not have a ground game thinking that Trump was his worst enemy. After he got the spotlight, it was hard to get him out of the spotlight ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
I no longer recognize this nation. In one day it has brushed aside its democratic principles, a respect for the rule of law, and compassion for the less fortunate replacing it with greed, avarice, and hate. I'm sixty five now and the principles that I spent my life supporting have been thrown out ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
@OIAwrestling: "YOU da MAN!" So glad to have yet another Harris Democrat on this thread. Last month, one of my colleagues at work who is local Chinese, said almost the same thing you said above: "I don't know how anyone who isn't haole, could vote for him; he's a White racist". Infidel ain’t a w ...

Re: 2024 Football Season
So many people are talking kids transferring during the season, but remember Jeremiah Masoli? He only spent a month and a half playing for St. Louis 19 years ago.

Re: 2024 Football Season
I think the OIA has refused to go back to interleague play because they think it’m create too many games. I know a way around that—have the OIA Open teams play all three ILH Open teams and two/three fellow OIA Open teams. They did it last year, since Mililani and Kahuku only met twice—in the OIA cham ...

Re: Open/D-I Top Ten 2024
Week Twelve, Heading into the home stretch with ILH Open and OIA Open playoffs. I think St. Louis will beat Punahou. Campbell over Kapolei. Kahuku over Mililani. Kahuku is hard to beat twice in one season and Mililani knows that better than anyone. Plus, the new QB1 will have had two more weeks to ...

Re: 2024 Football Season
I wish interleague play would come back and wonder who’s got the nonsensical opinion that it shouldn’t.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
People think that they want Trump because he's a businessman with a business degree. He went to school in the 60's. Since that time they realized in business school, that businesses in the US were not succeeding. They had to look at the Japanese business model and realize long term survivability is ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
The posts here make think of a group called the John Birch Society. A bunch of fans of Joe McCarthy. The GOP seems to have adopted their values.

Re: 2024 Football Season
As intriguing as Kahuku’s QB addition is, something like this has happened before. 19 years ago, Jeremiah Masoli joined St. Louis at the beginning of October. Ironically, the year he joined was the year that SLS’s streak of ILH championships ended. Masoli would later star at Oregon and Ole Miss.

Re: 2024 Football Season
We’ve got too much talent to go 2-6 and lose three games at our place. I also think we ended Kamehameha’s hopes of winning the ILH. A St. Louis win over us will give them the league title; if we beat St. Louis, that’ll give us the ILH 2nd round title and another matchup with them. Kamehameha didn’t w ...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election
@shrek2: Trump sucks: 1. He has refused to debate Harris a second time. 2. He backed-out of the "60 Minutes" interview. Both the Democratic and Republican candidates for President, have been interviewed on "60 Minutes" since '68. This is the first time in 56 years that a candidate from either Party ...

Re: 2024 Football Season
At least Kahuku didn’t wear white helmets. White helmets on any team are so bland and boring. Having said that, Kahuku faces enormous odds to four-peat. They’ve already lost three games—only two teams with three losses or more (1993 St Louis and 2007 Leilehua) have ever won state championships at th ...
