Re: Wahine Basketball
Beeman can recruit and showed serious coaching chops with so many players injured. Here’s a crazy thought. How would she do as men’s coach? Would definitely be a first and would be interesting to see how she approaches men’s game and recruiting. Beeman seems to understand the importance of making e...

Re: Wahine Basketball
I’d love to see us take down LSU and give Kim Mulkey something to cry about. She can coach with the best of them but is dumb as rocks when it comes to certain things. Let’s just say she’s got a history of sour grapes and controversial comments.

Re: Time’s Up for Ganot
I’m likely preaching to the choir when I say that UH’s biggest weakness is their inability to play 40 minutes. It’s made me doubt that Ganot’s got the ability to convince UH to play 40 minutes in a game.

Re: 2024 football recruits
Ty McCutcheon has received an invitation to an Elite11 regional QB competition. The Punahou QB was also in Cali for the Sup7r7on7 tourney this weekend . One scouting director was impressed with his frame and accuracy on deep throws. The same scout also had Nazaiah Caravallo LB Kamehameha as one of t...

Re: Another realignment?
My prediction as to what will happen.... Big Ten: gets Oregon, Washington, Stanford and either California OR Notre Dame (could end up getting both somehow) Big XII: gets Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah. MWC: gets Washington State and Oregon State. Here's a bone for the basketball lovers....

Kaeo Drummundo new KSK coach
Interesting choice. A lot of people were hoping they’d hire Rich Miano. I thought Makoa Freitas would also be a candidate.

Losing Terahiti hurts. I hope more kids from Punahou don’t follow him out.teamhawaii wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 7:09 pm Terahiti Wolfe - Punahou to Kahuku

Gotta go with the 49ers until they give me a reason not to. Gotta go with the Bengals until the Chiefs prove they can beat them. 49ers-Bengals III.

Re: Kenny out at Navy
Navy is one of those places where sustaining success is a massive challenge. I’ve heard some people suggest that the services academies, as well as schools like Stanford, Northwestern, Duke, and Vanderbilt form a conference of their own.

Congrats to Kahuku. It’s definitely early but I believe that both Punahou and Kahuku will be in the championship game next season too. Mililani might have a chance, they return a lot of their team also. And I bet they’ll get a few transfer portal kids lol. Both Campbell and mililani should get a fe...

Re: 2022 Open/D-I Top Ten
I'm assuming you watched the Punahou-Kahuku game on PPV. How was Kahuku able to shut out Punahou? Great defensive line pressure, getting to the quarterback, stuffing the run? Although Kahuku was the favorite entering the game, I wasn't expecting a shutout. All of what you said. I don’t think they g...

Re: SJSU Spartans Game Thread and Score Predictions
What I don't get is local people, especially media guys, who have this weird man-crush for coach Brent Brennan. In 6 years he has 2 winning seasons and an overall 27-41 record, 19-28 in conference. If he posted those numbers at UH he would have been canned after year 2 or 3 LOL My "I'm an outs...

Re: 2022 Open/D-I Top Ten
Konawaena beat Waipahu tonight. I underestimated Konawaena considering their only non-BIIF competition resulted in a loss (before the state tournament), as well as their tough-as-nails battle against Aiea along with Waipahu’s dominant win over Iolani. I thought the performances of both finalists las...
