Re: Domata Peko Jr decommits again
Wait, you can just terminate a signed contract like that? Why haven't I seen this happen more often? I thought he'd at least have to spend a year here...

Re: Does Icing the Kicker Really Work?
At this point, don't kickers EXPECT the other team to call a timeout before their kick? Mess with their head even more and DON'T call the timeout. Would've worked last night

Re: Pavihi and Tufaga TD High five.
Just watched the play and was surprised they didn't get flagged for it. With the somewhat recent rule changes, that could've gotten his TD taken away. Glad they're having fun, but they need to save that for when they're in the endzone. I hear you. But what would they have been flagged for? Unsports...

Re: ESPN bottom 10 2022
This list is stupid. You have 2 teams below us that they say lost their most winnable game, yet we are 1st. If we lose this week, we deserve it, but currently, with our most winnable games ahead of us, doesn't make sense.

Re: SportsHawaii.com #BRADDAHHOOD T-Shirt Contest
I'm excited to see the new recruits play. Although we lost a lot of key players, I feel like we did a pretty good job of upgrading a lot of other positions. And just excited for college football to be back in general!

Re: *** Official New HC Timmy Chang Thread ***
Huge blunder on Matlin's part (or whoever is pulling the strings back there) Lose-lose for UH and TC. TC does not have the experience to bring a program back from the shambles it's in right now. We lost all our star players, bad press, he doesn't have the connections JJ has to recruit new players. W...

Re: UH Will Play at Ching Field - But No Fans For Now
So now, not only can we NOT go see them in person, but we'll have to pay Spectrum $70 a game to watch? Can't they negotiate a cheaper price or even free if no fans are allowed? Well, I guess last year was the same situation...

Re: What Do You Want To See In The UH vs. UH Game?
With the number of players deciding to transfer out, I hope the teams morale doesn't take a hit. I hope the players overcome the loss of Reed, which won't be easy but for Hawaii to win they have to. I'm not going to lie but reading about the players leaving was like reading an obituary, and it had ...

Re: Is next weeks game against SJSU cancelled?
They just canceled today’s game against Boise. Looks like Santa Clara county just banned contact sports for the next 3 weeks. That includes 49ers and Stanford team. Unless they play the game at aloha stadium next week or they go to Vegas and find a venue to play. Wasn't the game cancelled due to CO...

Re: Spectrum just too expensive
You seem to have forgotten that Spectrum is paying UH athletics big bucks for the right to televise games. That money has to come from somewhere. No such thing as a free lunch. Without Spectrum money and no fans in the stands, there would be no income for UH. And you seem to have forgotten that Spe...

Re: Spectrum just too expensive
Spectrum just opened up PPV for restaurants. Also with Tier 2 since 10/22/2020, 5 people allowed for social gatherings. You still have a PPV option to split the cost. Where there's a will, there's a way. $70/5=$14 per head. Yes, they did just open up for PPV in restaurants, and that's a good start,...

Re: Spectrum just too expensive
I'd say it's not expensive. But I just don't want to support Spectrum. Plus it's the internet age and I've never paid for a single PPV but have watched a ton of PPV events for free :D Same here, usually, but I just cannot find a stream for these games...if you know of any, please let me know! ok, i...
