The way the football landscape is changing, we'll be in tier 2 like the majority of others in FBS right now. The top 50 or so schools will form their alliance and the rest will be left out.

we were lucky to get any school. Excluding conference championship games and bowl games most schools don't want a 13th game. Most schools prefer a bye to recover and be ready for a conference game versus traveling 2,500+ miles, lose money and time away from school. For most schools a 12 game regula...

IIRC, we were working on a game with a P5 school but needed cooperation from other schools so that date could be freed up but that fell through so it's not like we didn't try. In the meantime, that took up a lot of the time.we had.
