Re: 12th game will be against FCS Delaware State

Considering that Delaware has a game on the 29th, I don't think they wanted to play out here on the 24th. Delaware & Hawaii have Sept 7th open Delaware is joining CUSA next year. Could have done a home&home https://fbschedules.com/2024-delaware-football-schedule/ Wasn't it about getting a w...

Re: JC Transfer 6-9, 330 OT Freddie Pelling Signs LOI

Agreed. He's a big, pleasant fellow. But his stills are lacking. He's a project. His pass pro techniques and footwork has improved from last year. But he still has so much more to improve especially with his quickness and explosiveness. Unfortunately I don't see him getting any playing time in the ...

Re: New DT/NG coach Jeff Reinbold

I saw Reinebold's boxing drills and was intrigued by them. Now I understand the theory and translation to DL play. Danny Inosanto (a Bruce Lee protege) used to teach the Dallas Cowboys defensive linemen martial arts. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/asian-america/how-bruce-lee-s-protege-helped-dallas-c...

Re: Coaches Sapolu and Yoro Leaving

I have a feeling Faavi is the next OL coach and maybe the GA that the SA did the story on is the new S coach. I don't remember a story on a GA before and seems like the coaches think highly of him.

Depends on what he is making here. Also, Florida doesn't have any state income tax and the cost of living is lower. So he may be making less but will end up netting more.

I would say no to McKnight.
Don’t think that Timmy can turn down an experienced OL coach with RnS familiarity (especially with UH currently already mid-way through Spring Ball practice) given that the RnS OL coaching tree is very limited.
Rather have Wes Suan then.

Re: Coaches Sapolu and Yoro Leaving

Bad timing for UH (since currently mid-way through Spring Ball) to replace OL coach.....since new OL GA just started 3 weeks ago & was only beginning to learn the RnS offense himself. With John Estes recently hired as OL coach at San Jose State, guessing that Dennis McKnight (who previously coa...

Yes just like saying Wazzu instead of WSU.

Michigan fans use "The Team Up North" instead of saying Ohio St
Are you sure about that? I believe Ann Arbor is more north than Columbus.

Re: New RB coach Anthony Arceneaux

So much whining about a hiring of a coach. "Oh no! they are friends!?! *tears* Calls to replace the HC already because he hired yet ANOTHER Run N Shoot brain to the program? Jeez what a terrible hire, another person with RnS history! So what if he's never coached RBs before? Can a person not a...

Re: New RB coach Anthony Arceneaux

Yet another assistant with “buddy” status….just like Sheffield....which evidently turned out to be his primary attribute that got him hired....cuz has absolutely ZERO experience coaching RBs (at any level) in any offensive scheme. It's called the buddy system. If we don't make it to a bowl game thi...
