Re: HawaiiMBB 22-23

Silver lining may be Ganot finds players who can start and contribute. So far transfer players are all second unit guys. My concern is what happens with Rapp, Munoz, and the kid from Portland. Do they continue to be on scholarship? May be facing a situation where you are looking at filling 8 or 9 sl...

Re: Time’s Up for Ganot

I hope Ganot is watching every game in a he tournament and understanding how important guard play is to advancing. Recruit some athletic guards who can create their shot when needed. Top 2 players for FDU were D2 transfers with a their coach. Ballers are everywhere and Ganot needs to widen his lens ...

Re: Wahine Basketball

Beeman can recruit and showed serious coaching chops with so many players injured. Here’s a crazy thought. How would she do as men’s coach? Would definitely be a first and would be interesting to see how she approaches men’s game and recruiting.

Re: Time’s Up for Ganot

If only we had some sugar daddies who could buy him out. You are right about his contract status so I guess to more years of treading water. Pains me to think of 2 scholies sitting on bench for a nature season. And now we get the Yale guy who hasn’t played this year cuz of shoulder surgery. Yikes!!!!

Time’s Up for Ganot

After listening to another scoring drought by Hawaii it is now time to seriously consider if Ganot is the right person for the job. Nice guy but record of mediocrity and one game exits from Big West tourney. Same story for years. I did not renew my season tickets this year and am sure many will not ...

Re: TAMU Commerce

UNLV will steamroll UH. If you thought TAMU was athletic wait until you see what Vegas does do this team. This could get really ugly really fast

TAMU Commerce

I am sorry but Ganot’s team has zero athleticism. They were covered like blankets and could not get to loose balls. Not a case of want to but one of slow, plodding players. Hepa a huge disappointment. DaSilva, McClanahan, Avea non factors. And the bench is not coming to the rescue. Until Ganot can r...

Re: UH Men's Basketball Thread 2021-22

Better late than never. Solid additions to roster. Now time to coach them up and develop into cohesive unit. Pivotal year for Eran to get beyond 16-13 season. Hope for the best but need to see the results come November

Re: UH Men's Basketball Thread 2021-22

Still waiting on LOI from Aussie forward. And all crickets on any other prospects for recruiting. Hope we don’t wait until summer before getting that last signee. Doesn’t seem like any urgency to the process. Not a great sign.

Re: UH Men's Basketball Thread 2021-22

Just took a look at St Peters roster on Verbal Commits. Not a 3 star or more on the team. How you figgah? Hawaii should be dominating in big West basketball. Recruiting is a huge issue but so is finding pieces that fit and complement each other. Eran needs to right the ship and pronto. Effort and fi...

Re: UH Men's Basketball Thread 2021-22

Horrendous loss to Irvine. Seems like annual pattern where team fizzles toward end of the season, ends up around .500 and gets bounced in first round of Big West tournament. Coach Ganot says the right things but his teams performance is average year after year. I hate to see anyone lose their job bu...

Men’s Basketball Schedule

Any explanation for why we have the two Division 2 teams on our regular home schedule. Used to be we would play one as an exhibition. Now seems like this is a regular annual occurrence. If attendance is allowed I can’t see these games as big draws. Sure makes me rethink season ticket renewal

Verbal commits shows Zach Harvey, 4 star guard from Cincinnati, transferring to UCSB. Four straight 20 win seasons for UCSB and looks like the beat goes on.

Re: Longwood University grad transfer PG Juan Munoz commits

Matt Bradley (G) out of Cal and Timmy Allen (F) out of Utah. Both all PAC 12 caliber players. What have we to lose by inquiring?
