Re: Coach Graham on WarriorCast

Just listened to the interview. All I have to say is we got lucky. Graham has a ton of experience, and a ton of contacts in college (Notre Dame, Georgia, Florida St, etc..) and the NFL. Graham's coaching tree is impressive. With his resume he should be coaching at WSU and Rolo should be still here.l...

Re: New Hire - G.J. Kinne - Offense Coordinator/QB Coach

I must have missed it, but does anyone know what offense Graham will be running? I hope it's the RnS with a sprinkle of RPO.

Re: New Hire - G.J. Kinne - Offense Coordinator/QB Coach

gophers learn a lot from the top men in the business. That's why you want to be a gopher. The same applies for other major businesses. At a fortunes 100 companies you vie to be an AA to executives. Yes, you are a gopher but you get to see how decisions are made and implemented. This is very true, b...

i like the fact that no true tight ends were recruited.riley wilson is the biggest receiver.
From what I saw, 4.84 40. Better suited for OLB, or Rush DE. IMO.

Re: New Hire - G.J. Kinne - Offense Coordinator/QB Coach

A first time OC. I think Kinne was OC for 1 game in college and that's it. Much different when you have to actually talk to the players and explain your system. We'll see how he communicates with the players. Phillips is another one, only an "analyst", fancy name for Gofer. But, Phillips did coach ...

Re: Todd Graham on his recruiting class

Graham's about speed and being physical, I like that. Size at WR, and CB, that's great too. Need pass rushers though.

Re: Recruits?

Hopefully it mirrors norvells offense at Memphis. "Graham visited with several NFL and college coaches, including Bill Belichick in New England and Mike Norvell, his former offensive coordinator at ASU who is now the coach at Florida State. He picked their brains and kept up to date with the game.G...

Anyone know what kind of offense Graham's going to install? I know he said, attacking and up-tempo.
Every coordinator he's had under him ran a version of an RPO spread.
At least our boys know that offense. Up-tempo is a good thing, IMO.

Re: Todd Graham officially new coach?

Lane Kiffin? That's what I say. Both Ed Ogeron and Lane Kiffin suffered miserable failures at big schools only to come back. Kiffin was paid a mill at FAU and has just been hired at Ole Miss to the tune of $16.2 mill over 4 years. They are good coaches who made mistakes and turned things around. Le...

Re: Todd Graham officially new coach?

It was Matlin that brought up that he has to be a fit for Hawaii. Here's his quote “You have fit for Hawaii. And fit for Hawaii doesn’t mean you had to play here. It doesn’t mean you had to be here. But you have to be able to fit into Hawaii. I think fit is definitely important here." Yeh, I get it...

Re: Phase 3

Talk among players and those close to the program is Phase 3 is winning the MWC, going to the Vegas Bowl and kicking WAZZU okole :hello1: Hearing about Rolo leaving via social media or a group text really left many with a bitter pill to swallow. Yup. It's why I was saying Rolo's thank you to the UH...

Another guy that applied, Duane Akina.
I hope he's not the pick either.
