The Star-Bulletin’s Dave Reardon had a lot of news and notes from today’s first spring practice in full pads. Here’s a small excerpt:
The first group of offensive linemen is aligned this way today: LT Aaron Kia, LG Keith AhSoon, C John Estes, RG Lafu Tuioti-Mariner and RT Keoni Steinhoff. However, No. 2 center Austin Hansen is getting plenty of action, and Estes is not involved in the heavy contact drills.
Estes said afterward his hamstring is a little tight, and he didn’t want to risk injuring it.
The Advertiser’s Leila Wai posted video from the practice, which included interviews with Greg McMackin, Solomon Elimimian and David Veikune.

It was also great to hear that Colt Brennan’s surgery was a success.
