For their second spring practice, the Warriors worked out for the first time at Clarence T.C. Ching Field.  SportsHawaii member NelsonO has a report:

The field is brand spanking new and you can still see the pellets on the field surface being kicked up as the players accelerate on the turf.

One of my first impressions is that Coach Tormey is a real intense guy. When he talks, he doesn’t need a microphone. And it looks like he wants to go full blast all the time.

One of my concerns was that the team was short of safeties number-wise. Well, today they had eight players taking reps as safeties. It was the same number of players that were taking reps as cornerbacks.

In addition to linebacker Blaze Soares sitting out practice, linebacker Josh Rice also did not take part in any drills.
