If you are browsing with IE7 or Firefox 2, you can help us out by adding the ‘SH Google’ Search to your web browser’s list of Search Engines and searching with it. The search results are similar to what you would get when you search from google.com, but if you use the ‘SH Google’ search, any revenue generated from the ads will be shared with us. Revenue comes in at just a few pennies at a time, but this can add up to help us pay for web-hosting fees.
Installation with Internet Explorer 7
At the top right of the browser, click on the down arrow next to the Live Search magnifying glass and next to Add Search Providers, click on SH Google. A window will then pop up, asking if you want to Add ‘SH Google’. Click on the checkbox named “Make this my default search provider” if you want to set it as your default and press the ‘Add Provider’ button. If you clicked on the checkbox will now say ‘SH Google’ when you open IE7 and your installation is complete.
The next time you want to search the web, type your request in the text field and your results will appear within a sportshawaii template.
Installation with Firefox 2.x
At the top right of the browser, click on the down arrow next to the google ‘G’ logo and click on Add “SH Google”. The google icon will now appear as the SportsHawaii Logo and your installation is complete.
The next time you want to search the web, type your request in the text field and your search results will appear within a sportshawaii template.
And if you do not have either version of browser, you can bookmark the weblink http://www.sportshawaii.com/shgoogle/search.htm here.
