It was another awesome questions and answers session with Jim Donovan.   Thank you once again Jim and staff for taking time off from your busy schedule to chat with the Sports Hawaii Ohana!  Like ususal we gave Jim a little time to share with us anything that is going on in the world of UH sports.  Here is what he had to say this month.

Thanks again for asking this question. First of all, thanks to everyone for their support of past events that I’ve posted. Here’s what we have on the calendar:

Of course, we have the CIT men’s basketball game against Portland on Tuesday, March 15th at 7 pm in the Stan Sheriff Center. We encourage all our fans to support our team in this post-season tournament. Tickets can be purchased through our website at, by phone at 944-2697, at the Stan Sheriff Center Ticket Office and at Rainbowtique (Ward and Downtown locations).

We continue to hold autograph sessions with the baseball team after their Friday evening games.

Ahahui Koa Anuenue will be having a scholarship fundraiser dinner on April 6th at 5:30 pm at the Stan Sheriff Center. Coaches and student-athletes will be at the event. Tickets are on sale now – call AKA at 956-6500.

The football team will be having a scrimmage/autograph session in Hilo on April 9th at 11:00 am at Kamehameha Schools, Hawai’i campus. More details forthcoming.

Na Koa Football Club will be hosting their annual golf tournament on April 12th at Hawaii Prince Golf Club, 11:00 am shotgun start. For more information, contact the Na Koa office at 956-4513.
