There has been a lot of talk on this forum regarding Tim Tebow. Some have said he is a running QB or that he has a great surrounding cast to support him, or that Florida designs the offense around him. That is all true, but there is much more. I had the privilege to have dinner with Timmy last Friday night and I can probably give you the best insight into the Heisman Trophy winner.
First, everything they say about him is true. He is the finest young man I have ever met. He is a dedicated Christian and walks that walk every day including two mission trips since January, leading Bible studies every week and always doing special things for those less fortunate. Many people came up to us during dinner and he never denied anyone the opportunity for a picture, kind words or an autograph. His faith is number one in his life.
Number two is family. I have known his dad Bob for over 30 years and he is the true leader of the family, but the glue is his mom Pam. They are close knit and the love that shines from them is incredible…(more)
