Jaaron Stallworth, a junior college transfer with three years of eligibility, and Jessiya Villa, the 2017 Hawai'i boy's basketball state player of the year. Stallworth joins the team this year. Villa is going on a 2-year mission and will join the team in 2019.

Hopefully Jaaron heals up quickly and is close to full strength when team practices start. We need him! Jessiya will help in 2019, especially if he can keep in reasonably good physical shape during his time in Ghana, otherwise he would benefit from a redshirt year and play in 2020.

Coach Ganot appears to be really struggling to get the recruits this year. I realize that there were the sanctions and loss of scholarships, since reinstated, but it does not look good when even the late signees are going elsewhere.
