Wanna hear something crazy? Remember Hawaii spoiling Nevada's undefeated season in 2010? Moniz and Parades coming up big? That was the last time UH beat Nevada. SIX YEARS. This used to be a series where the two teams would hold serve at home, back and forth.
This is Rolo's former team. We get two weeks to prepare for a team he probably needs the least amount of time to prepare for. Nevada has hovered in mediocrity ever since hiring Polian. Not a bad team, just not a great one either. Decent suits them well.
The Warrior defense is bad. The offense is better than Chow's, but at times inconsistent. Will Brown start at QB? Will the defense have a pulse this game? I'm going to predict we see an old-fashioned high-scoring affair at Aloha Stadium. Hawaii 39, Nevada 34.
