Giving Thanks
Re: Giving Thanks
For fans --- sports is just lazy entertainment with others paying the physical and emotional price. I am thankful for college students that play their hearts out representing us every year.

Re: Giving Thanks
I am thankful for:
- the UH Football team, our D1 team that represents the State of Hawaii.
- all the student/athletes that play for Hawaii.
- the AD for pulling the trigger this season and closing the Norm Chow era.
- the UH Admin for allowing a salary cap that will enable the new HC to hand-select his new assistant coaches.

Re: Giving Thanks
To add to all of the above, I am thankful for all of the UH student athletes who try their very best in their sport and in the classroom, whether they receive a scholarship or have to pay their own way - thank you.

Re: Giving Thanks
I give thanks to having Ben Clarke, who is not from Hawaii but has only good things to say about Hawaii, someone who has achieved recognition by the MWC, someone who has done well in the classroom. Thank you Ben Clarke. Also, thank you for Ne'quan Philips who gave 4 solid years to Hawaii and broke up a lot of passes even though he was over matched in size and made crucial tackles for losses. Also, for playing tough in his senior year even though he started in previous years and still coming off the bench and making crucial tackles on the rollouts and sweeps. I hope both of these kids get chances at the next level.
