New uniforms?

Post by J-Rod »

Does anyone know if the football team will get newer uniforms this fall? They've been stuck on the same template since 2011. Mililani high school has updated their uniforms more often than UH. Would be nice to see something new for the primary uniforms.

Cats don't have owners. Cats have servants.

They should change it up. Hawaii has never been good since they've had the current uniform template

Yeah but, with Scott Harding gone, gotta do something. Anything!

Can we change colors? What color is invisible.. ? Oh wait, no good, our QBs no can see the receivers as it is, already...

Yeah but my comment still rings true. You can't deny the fact that since the 2011 season when the current template made its debut, Hawaii has been piss-poor to put it lightly. It also happens to coincide, but off by a year, with Chow's regime. Whether Chow is the coach next year or not, I believe a new uniform is needed to get the stink of ineptitude away.

The reason is two words: Norm Chow. Who I hoped would have QBs produce BYU numbers ala Ty Detmer and bc he's also from Palolo...still remmeber when UH beat them when they annouced he was the heisman winner.

New All-Sports UA Deal In The Works

After a seven-year association with Under Armour in football, UH is moving toward outfitting its entire athletic program in the trademark of the sports apparel manufacturer with what would be the school’s first all-sports agreement.

The parties have held what have been termed “exploratory sessions” since April and, pending final details, UH could have a multi-year contract as soon as late August.

My wife's college friend's husband is a marketing director at UA and we talked about their deal with UH during this past 4th of July weekend at their house in Maryland. Glad it can possbily be expanded to all UH sports. Their brand is growing quickly and they are eyeing expansion of the college sports teams they sponser.

I hope more UH fans support the UA products outside of the UH stuff as they inked a deal with UH when there were no other suitors.
