I no more 100 posts and see through red tinted glasses, so who cares what I think, but why Salanoa Alo-Wily was not 1st team. I mean he was named OIA Red D1 Defensive POY and during the Punahou/Kahuku game, Coach Hernandez said that Sala gets his vote as the POY. I can't wait to see this dude lining up next to Kennedy Tulimasealii at UH next year. Straight up beasts! Not taking anything away from the other DL on 1st team, but I would take Salanoa on DL everytime.

I would have Manaia Autaia LB Kahuku on at least the second team D. Also why not have a D2 all state. I mean you have four to five players from D2 programs on. Would they perform any different against D1 talent on a weekly basis? Just my one cent.

Alo-Wily is more of a disruptive player on EVERY play than Fehoko. I would take him over Kaumatule because of power & mobility. Combine numbers & physical measurements are one thing, but making an impact on the game should be a big part of the equation.

I thought PUN had the best LB corp, but I have not seen the Hilo, Damien or Kapolei players in action. Surprised Kalama Chung, PUN MLB, is not on the list....he plays that middle the right way.

manaia atuaia had a break out seasson and was the leader on the defense he turned down bishop gormen to be a red raider this year, he should atleast be 2nd team linebacker, if not him then sioeli naupoto

D2 schools need their own poll because their competition is not good like D1

Their love for Hilo is pretty high. I still don't know how Ofa Fahiua was the Manti Teo player of the year (defensive player of the year).

[Observation]

I was sent a link to observe several kicks by the player from Punahou. What I see is, He is kicking off a 2" tee or wedge. I get these sent to me all the time but in High School Football unless they are off the ground or at the most 1" then I take them seriously. Your talent and skill set in Hawaii is behind from us here state side. Pop Warner / Middle School / Junior Varsity use the 2" inch wedge.
This is my observation.

Just because 5star did good at camps and clinics which as a result got him invited to an All American game they feel the need to reward him with a First Team Honors?? C'mon man... Wily and Manu should be 1st team interior DL. Can't see how they rank 5star over Wily.

Wily did way better than 5star this year. Doing it against doubles and going both ways. Every excuse you guys can give for 5star Wily played under the same circumstances with better results.
