I'd be happy.
Re: What if UH beat Colorado
I would think October 1, 2011.
The last road win against a respectable opponent.

I'd be happy! It would be a road win against a Pac-12 team. Even if its ugly, its a win! And a better win than over Army or NIU!

I certainly want the team to look sharper. But in the end, a win is a win and I won't bicker about it too much.

If Hawaii can pull off a 2nd consecutive win, the lynch mob would start to calm down. If the team can pull off 5 straight wins, take a lost, and back to a win (not looking at the schedule), then I would say the mob could go away.
If Chow could pull off 5-7 wins, I think his job will be safe.
2-3 wins, no matter now pretty or ugly of a win, I would say Chow is gone. Looking at some of his past and even recent interviews, he talked about the "additional duties" of a head football coach that he seems to be surprised about, that is not football. He talked about paper in the copy machine, booking hotels, etc, etc. I don't work for UH, but I'm pretty sure the head coach does not worry about stuff like that, but I get what he is saying.
I think Chow loves football, but just not cut out to be HC.

You're probably right on all counts.cabanalane wrote:If Hawaii can pull off a 2nd consecutive win, the lynch mob would start to calm down. If the team can pull off 5 straight wins, take a lost, and back to a win (not looking at the schedule), then I would say the mob could go away.

If Hawaii beats Colorado and it's an ugly win?
Then, by all means, Colorado really sucks this season with only one win against a winless Massachusetts team.

If we run on first and second down and throw on 3rd, and win 3-0, I'll be jumping for joy.

If it was like that I probably wouldn't watch but then jump for joy when I see the results on ESPN.com.BigWave96744 wrote:If we run on first and second down and throw on 3rd, and win 3-0, I'll be jumping for joy.

Winning 3-0 against a PAC12 team on the road would trump the 59-56 OT lost at Wyoming last year

I'd be surprised. While Colorado isn't very good they are improving, we seem to be stuck in the same hole for the 3rd year.
