Just another way to look at my predictions. If this is pretty accurate, could become a weekly segment :D I use a set formula that I have zero control over.

Big Island Interscholastic Federation
KONAWAENA (-22.5) vs. Hawaii Prep
KS-HAWAII (-17.5) vs. Waiakea
HONOKAA (-10) vs. Keaau
Hilo (-12.5) vs. KEALAKEHE

Interscholastic League of Honolulu
Damien (-14) vs. St. Francis (NEUTRAL)
Iolani (-27) vs. Pac-5 (NEUTRAL)
KS-Kapalama (-31.5) vs. St. Louis (NEUTRAL)

Kauai Interscholastic Federation
Kapaa (-44) vs. Waimea

Maui Interscholastic League
Baldwin (-14.5) vs. KS-MAUI
Maui (-30.5) vs. King Kekaulike - (NEUTRAL)

Oahu Interscholastic Association
NANAKULI (-58.5) vs. Anuenue - DISPARITY GAME
KAISER (-9.5) vs. Kahuku - UPSET ALERT
WAIANAE (-29) vs. Castle
Mililani (-10) vs. CAMPBELL - MATCH OF THE WEEK
MOANALUA (-32) vs. Aiea
KAPOLEI (-44) vs. Kailua
Kalaheo (-10.5) vs. ROOSEVELT
McKinley (-5.5) vs. Waipahu - (NEUTRAL) - TOSS UP
Pearl City (-21.5) vs. Radford - (NEUTRAL)
Kalani (-26.5) vs. Kaimuki - (NEUTRAL)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saw your upset alert. this could be a very dangerous game for BiG Red. They can't start off slow like how they did against Castle.

Not sure about your game of the week. From the way Campbell played against Kapolei, I didn't see anything that says State contender.

Kahuku is gonna drill Kaiser.

I agree. Kaiser should be able to handle Kaiser. But Kaiser has been dropping points like its no ones business.

The labels are only based on the spreads.

"Upset Alert" is a team everyone expects to win being the underdog.
"Game of the Week" is the smallest spread.
"Disparity Game" is the largest spread.

You saying Kaiser is dropping points like no one business. Did you look at kahuku ppg? kahuku just needs to run the ball but the question is what Kaiser needs to do to make it a game?

Just last year we were saying how Kaiser would get bullied around when they moved up into D1 so far they are holding their own and doing a great job. this week against kahuku is gonna be their first taste of the D1 bullies, farrington is another bully that dont only play to win but to literally punch u in the mouth n knock u out.

as far as the score goes kahuku should be able to win by more then a couple touchdowns. im glad kaiser has a decent passing offense this will give kahuku a chance to measure their pass defense.

I'll say. That's insane. In fact, I have St Louis as a 7-pt favorite against Kamehameha. People need to remember that Apelu--Kamehameha's top RB--is out for the season.

I second that motion! Is 31.5 a typo?

No it's not. The formula I'm using is accurate 90% of the time for generating decent lines. Unfortunately, when a team that gets blown up the way St. Louis has goes against a team that has barely played like Kamehameha, it can produce some weird numbers like this. The more into the season we get, the better the lines will be.

Yeah I figured it was due to the blow outs St. Louis suffered in their previous games. I like St. Louis winning outright though because of the injuries kamehameha has suffered. Heck even if kamehameha was at full strength i still don't think they have the offense to out score St. Louis by 31 anyway.

Upset of the week.

Yes Kaiser has been dropping points , but if you look on who they be dropping the points on that's another story.

8/22 Waianae L, 26-7
9/5 Waipahu W, 45-6
9/12 McKinley* W, 51-14

Kaiser is good but I am not sure if they got the full taste of smash mouth football. They had a small taste when they played Waianae and Waianae won by 19 points but this week they will get 4 qtrs in your face smash mouth Big Belly Boys football!!!

Anything can happen and that is why we play the game.

RED RAIDERS by 30 points

GO BIG RED!!

I favor Kahuku as well. This is just how the lines came out this week. Kahuku better be careful though, taking on the Cougars at Kaiser won't be a walk in the park.

I'm pretty confident Big Red will paint Hawaii Kai Red, but our secondary still needs work, and Kaiser has more athletes than Castle does. If Red Raiders don't put the kids to sleep before half time, could be a gut buster til the 4th.

I think Cougars are very fortunate to have had former Red Raiders as DC's the last couple of years(Richard T. this year) and Sola Soliai(last year...btw, Sola is now the current Red Raider DC).

GO BIG RED!!!

Good luck to both schools.
